What’s not included
- Court Fees. All divorces in England and Wales are subject to court fees of £593 to pay for the court’s staff. If you have savings of less than £3000, and your monthly income before tax is less than £1200, you shouldn’t have to pay any court fees. And if your monthly income before tax is less than £2000, you can apply for a reduction. You can find more information about the Help with Fees here.
- Help with Fees queries from the court. The help with fees process is a separate application between you, the court and the Department of Work and Pensions.
- Contact with your spouse. We only work with you with this service. If you would like us to engage with your spouse too, take a look at our Couples Managed Divorce Service.
